About us

St. Peter’s London Docks is a one-form entry Church of England Primary School, incorporating a nursery, and situated in the Wapping area of Tower Hamlets, East London. We have 234 girls and boys from a wide variety of backgrounds.

The school has a very long tradition and history. Father Charles Lowder established St. Peter’s Church and School to serve the deprived area of the London Docks. Its mission was and remains to educate the children through the Christian faith and there are organic links between the church and school.

St. Peter’s School is popular and well regarded in the local community. We are always oversubscribed for admission to Nursery and Reception.
